What type of Mangas do you prefer between Shounen (boys mangas e.g. Chobits, Beach, Hikaru no go) and Shoujo (girls mangas e.g. Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Tokyo Mew Mew)
It's a poll to say that girls don't always go for Shoujo & boys don't always go for Shonen.
I voted for can't decide because I love both Shoujo & Shonen, although most of my mangas are Shoujo.

I really like them both. Shounens: Hikaru No Go,(I like Shounen Jump)Naruto, YuYu Hakushu, Yu-Gi-Oh, and InuYasha(Manga not anime in this topic) Shoujo: TMM, Dream Saga, MKR, DGC, CCS, and More Starlight to your heart.
I like them both!

Shoujo: TMM, Dream Saga, MKR, DGC, CCS, and More Starlight to your heart. I thought DGC or Di Gi Charat is a Shonen, because if you brought the English VIZ manga, it states Shonen at the bound of the book. Also Koge-Donbo's first Shoujo was actually Kamichama Karin.

It is? But it uses girl characters. So it makes it both!

I'm pretty sure Di Gi Charat is classified as Shoujo.
I guess both is alright. I really can't decide.

To be honest, I use to like only Shoujo manga because I usually go for anything aimed at my gender, but when I found out there were loads of people going for any Manga regardless of their gender, somehow I copied them and now I can't decide since there are a majority of Shonen that I like such as Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, Chobits, Bleach etc...
Besides sometimes I can't tell whether a particular Manga is a Shoujo or Shonen? At first I thought that Chobits was a Shoujo and DNAngel was a Shonen, but got it totally wrong >.<"

I voted Can't Decide because although I like mainly Shoujo, like CCS, TMM,Sailor Moon (a bit) Di Gi Charat and stuff, but I like TRC,.Hack//LOTTB (.Hack//Udeden) and Chobits too! I don't know why some people say you have to stick to the genre aimed at your gender....and for some animanga's, no-one can seem to decide which it actually is! In some manga translations, they seem to try to aim it at a different gender, like the CCS translation, for instance. Confuses people......or at least me..... Mew Mew Sakura~~~~~~~nyan!

Hmm... well I prefer series which concentrate the most on the characters and storyline. Sometimes a Shounen series will focus too much on the action for me to be that interested in it and it just seems to drag on, but some of my most favourite series are Shounen, so I guess I like a little of both as long as it has a good story. ^^
