There are some Animes that have turned into live action series such as Sailor Moon, Cutey Honey, Intial D, Death Note and many more, so what do you think about Anime turning into live actions series? I haven't seen many live actions, but I personally think that all live actions are truely rushed because they try to fit almost everything in the Manga/Anime arc into a short story. And I must say that most of the actors/actress' suits the role of the charcters but the Anime/Manga form is much better

I haven't seen many live-action movies based on anime. Only one I can think of is Death Note and you already know my thoughts on that. ( still want it, though. lol ) I've also seen Gyver and that was really, really cheesy. XD I think the advantage of a manga or anime series is that it is divided up into episodes or chapters. This means you can place a good plot-twist or cliff-hanger at the end of each one and it will leave a strong impact. With each of these the story builds up more depth and you also have time to reflect on the events, but with a movie it's just one thing that's meant to be watched in one go. There's also the fact that your average 26 episode anime @ 25 mins each = a lot more content than a movie. I've watched a lot more movies that are based on games than anime. Some are good and many aren't. I thought they did a great job of Silent Hill because they recreated the atmosphere perfectly and made it a mix of all the different games. The story also didn't feel too rushed either as a lot of the game is obviously gameplay rather than just cut-scenes because... well... it's a game. XD So yeah, I think games-to-movies generally have more potential to work than anime/manga-to-movies as without the gameplay many of their storylines are probably about an hour or two anyway so they don't feel as rushed/compacted. ( unless you're talking about the Final Fantasy series. )

I'd say Live Actions are definitely a good idea, although they're obviously never going to compare to an anime since there's always the limitations of what you can actually do in a live action. But personally I think it's always interesting to see a different take. So far the only Live action I've seen that I thought was better than the anime was Initial D since it was about a million times less cheesey.
