I have got vol.1 of Fruits Basket and watched episodes 1-6. I love the opening theme because its soft and gentle, also sweet! Fruits Basket has got to be a one of the funniest Anime's I've watch (after Azumanga Daioh)

I haven't seen it but I've seen a preview of it once that made it seem real serious, and then another one that made it seem funny.

I didn't like the English version of the song much because the voice isn't at all very great. The Japanese voice suits the song more because she is so sweet. Oh, I found the CD here ~ www.cdjapan.co.jp/(with_comments,mint)/detailview.html?KEY=KICM-3014

Yeah, true I think the English voice was lacking in depth in the song, especially at the end when it geos something like "ba, ba, bah" ... it just sounds totally wrong >.<"
Tohru in the Japanese version has abit of a high pitched voice, but it kinda suits her. One of my friends from another forum hates her Japanese voice because she thinks it's too high pitched and prefers the English voice, which I think was done by Laura Bailey, but anyway almost all young Japanese girls has high pitched voices so theres nothing wrong with those types of voices because it reflects on the Japanese culture.
